Email #3 Copy Summary
The copy you are now about to read is the copy of the third email that the lead recieves.
The goal of this email is to educate and sell the prospect on the idea of the unique mechanism in copywriting. I inform the prospect on why unique mechanisms are important and how it will benefit them as a copywriter.
I then tie this idea into the offer that the email is trying to sell which is the copywriting course. This is basically the same kind of email with the same goal as email #2 but this time the email is talking about unique mechanisms instead of research.

Email #3 Copy Analysis


I hook the reader in the email with a hook I like to call the “Common Mistake” hook.
This hook instantly instills fear in the reader by implying that there is a mistake that they want to avoid doing that will result in them experiencing an undesirable outcome.
Sometimes this common mistake might be a mistake that the prospect is already making that is preventing them from achieving their dream outcome, and sometimes it may be a mistake they are bound to make that will result in an undesirable outcome.
But the key here is that the prospect doesn’t know what this mistake is and how to avoid it until they continue reading the copy to discover more.


I imply a big promise to the reader by stating what results they should expect to see if they manage to learn and master this concept.
This creates intrigue and makes the reader want to know more about this concept because now they know what it will do for them.


This is where I start to lay the foundation of the idea that I am trying to drive home to the reader.
I leverage a credible source with statistical proof to back up my claim that prospects are skeptical. This foundation is going to help the reader understand why the unique mechanism is important and why they need to learn it.
Just a side a note...the irony of this email is that the unique mechanism of the email that delivers the big promise is the “unique mechanism”. Copy is some really cool stuff…


This is where I briefly explain the root cause of the problem that I previously mentioned to the reader (that prospects are skeptical).


I am briefly explaining how the unique mechanism functions when it comes to solving the problem.


Here I am going into more detail on the big promise and what the reader will experience if they don’t execute the concept of the unique mechanism correctly.
