Facebook Funnel Summary

The copy in this sales funnel sequence is written to sell a natural tinnitus supplement in the alternative health niche.
If you are not already aware, tinnitus is a condition that causes it’s victims to suffer from a loud ringing sound in their ears that comes from their brain and does not have an external source.
This ringing in their ears is non-stop and they can’t escape it. It interferes with their daily life and hinders their ability to do things like concentrating at work, going to sleep, or simply just enjoying a show on the television.
In this funnel, I decided to leverage a sleep angle due to the fact that this problem tends to bother the prospect more than anything.
They can’t stand the fact that they can’t enjoy their sleep anymore because the constant ringing in their ears keeps them up at night.
So with that being said, as you go through this sales funnel in my portfolio, all of the copy you read will be congruent with this angle.

Facebook Ad Copy Summary
This is the creative of the facebook ad. As you can see, all of the copy is in the creative and the image does all of the heavy lifting to get the click from the prospect.
The creative is created this way for 2 reasons. First, when the prospect sees the ad, they see it is formatted like the notes app on the iPhone. This makes the ad blend in with their feed and it will help stop the scroll because it doesn't look like an ad and more like a post that someone made that is talking about their problem.
Second, if all of the copy is in the creative, it makes the customer journey more seamless because the prospect doesn't have to move their eyes in order to get the full message of the ad.

Facebook Ad Hook Analysis


This is the hook of the ad. The first words call out the ideal prospect to capture their attention. This ensures that the people who end up getting hooked into reading the rest of the copy are the people who are most likely to convert.


Masking is the most common solution that is used by the prospect to address their problem. It is not an ideal solution for them because it doesn’t address the root cause of their problem.
It only puts a band-aid on the problem and this is the only thing that they can rely on. What they truly desire is to get relief from the actual ringing in their ears.
So this part of the hook feeds into their desire to not have to rely on masking the noise in their ear when they go to sleep.
So when they see the advertisement, and it implies that they should stop doing something that they already hate doing anyway, it makes them think “Well, if I shouldn’t mask…then what should I do?”
This creates intrigue in the prospects mind and will make them curious to learn more.
Facebook Ad Body Copy Analysis


This agitates the prospects problem and stirs up their emotion of frustration, annoyance, and hopelessness.


This gives the prospect hope that there is a solution to their problem. This part of the ad copy also slightly teases the unique mechanism of the solution.
The prospect most likely does not know about a technique that is used by astronauts to solve their problem.
If they knew, they probably wouldn’t be masking in the first place. So when they read this, it excites them because it is most likely “new” news to them and they will want to know more about what this technique is.
Also, by stating that it is used by astronauts, it adds some credibility because most people know that astronauts have more knowledge and resources than the average person.
So the prospect will most likely think “If astronauts are using it, then this has to work!”
Facebook Ad Close Copy Analysis


This is the close and call to action of the copy. It calls out the prospect specifically to remind them that this message is for them and then gives them a call to action to take the next step in order to learn more about this new solution to their problem.
